Interview With Sweet Romance Author Bree Livingston

What got you interested writing Sweet Romance books?

I love romance. That first meet-cute, the ensuing awkward feelings, and the growth of the people as they fall in love. There is just something about being there as people fall in love.

Tell readers a little about the Clean Billionaire Romance series.

I take broken people, put them together, and let their broken pieces melt together to make a whole person.

If you could live the life of one of your characters, would you?

I think I would.

Which character and why?

I would want to be Emma from Her Second Chance Billionaire Sweetheart. Her bond with Grayson is so tender and sweet. How they take care of one another.

What's your favorite character that you have created and why?

I adore Steele Corday. He's a sweet man in an impossible situation.

Do you have any real-life stories that you have incorporated into one of your books?

Yep, the first book with Belle, there was a lot of me in that character. I have a hard time standing up for myself, and seeing Belle put her foot down was awesome.

If you had to choose a different career other than writing, what would it be?

Huh, tough question. I'd probably be in finance.

What is your favorite book that you have ever written and why?

That would be a fictionalized memoir I wrote under a different pen name. While it was fictionalized, it helped me a lot.

What do you like to do with your time when you're not writing?

I have a husband, two girls, and four cats. What is the time you speak of?

What's a fun fact that your readers might not know about you?

I applied to the FBI to be a forensic accountant.

What do you have in store for your readers next?

Ohhh, squee! His name is Jackson Bellamy and he's going to meet Grace Maddox. The book will be out in August and it's the first in a new fake marriage series. I'm so stoked about it. It's called The Cowboy's Fake Marriage. I think readers are going to love it.
